What does it mean to remember?

What does it mean to remember?

What does it mean to forget?

What might forgetting do to us and those who care for us?

Ta da ta da ta da tad a is the working title of a short performance piece by the brilliant Manchester poet and performer Louise Wallwein with music by the equally brilliant Jaydev Mistry and musicians from Manchester Camerata.  It’s an outcome of a collaboration between the artists, a support group for people with young onset dementia, Manchester Camerata, students and staff from University of Manchester Drama and School of Nursing.

There’s a work-in-progress sharing of the piece at 6.30pm before Manchester Camerata’s concert on Saturday (24th Sept) at Royal Northern College of Music. You don’t need to have a ticket for the concert and can just turn up and watch the 30 minute piece if you are interested.

All the best
