PREMS 2017

PREMsThe PREMs (Patient Reported Experience Measures) survey findings for 2017 have just been released. The survey is coordinated by Kidney Care UK and the UK Renal Registry and analysed at the University of Hertfordshire. Over 11,000 patients took part and the top three areas identified for improvement were as follows:

  1. Transport to and from dialysis
  2. Needling, how often dialysis needles are inserted with as little pain as possible
  3. Shared decision making

You can view how your renal centre performed on page 12 of the PREMS 2017 report by downloading the survey via this link. Not for the first time, Carlisle appears to be the best place to dialyse.
