I am a retired Senior Operating Department Practitioner ( Anaesthetics ) also Organ Retrieval Link Officer, in Theatres. I worked in Manchester Royal Infirmary, and also as a Locum SODP in most of the hospitals in Greater Manchester ( NHS & Private ) I trained in Walton Hospital, Liverpool and I worked at The Royal Liverpool Children's Hospital, Myrtle Street. I served in the Royal Army Medical Corp , as a combat medic in Aden, Yemen, Bahrain, Oman and Kenya, I loved Para-sailing but at 74yrs young my wife Norine says I should stop, the first year after my transplant I took up the martial art, Aikido, to get fit and get my mind together, I have had an interesting life and enjoyed most of it, but this is thanks to my lovely Wife, Norine and my wonderful children, family and friends.
